Title: Eastern Milk Snake - Don Mills and Lawrence
Post by: MaxGen on June 09, 2011, 11:46:21 AM
Found my cat playing with what at first glance I thought was a Massasagua Rattlesnake, he was even shaking his tail like a rattlesnake.  It was a Milk Snake though.  I eventually picked it up and put it back in the ravine to get it away from the cat.

I suspect he may have been hunting some Garter snakes we have been seeing on the property a lot.

I'm in Victoria Village, near the DVP and Lawrence, backing onto the Don.
