This was taken last weekend, my first Loon encounter. I've visited this lake last year but didn't have the courage to rent a boat and look for the Loons.
Set out last saturday early morning and waiting for the place to open at 7 to rent a boat. With all the paper work needed and trying to learn how to use one, I was out on the lake by 8.
Shooting from a boat takes some getting use to but manage to take a few keepers. Here's one of them.
