Thanks Irene, for the most part he was perched high up, every now and then he would come down and perch for a few seconds which didn`t give you a lot of time to find this little thing in your viewfinder,I missed a few opportunities before I finally got him.

the detail of the subtle colouration is truly remarkable. I googled images of the RTH and few compare to this one.
