Title: really an o/t here.. but My Mom has just passed away

in a Nursing Home
she had a terminal illness

and I just wondered
if anyone here had or has
parents in a home

It is quite an experience
as Im sure your know

My mom had a long life
age 92, but
not nice at the end

My sympathies. It is always hard when a loved one passes on. I do hope that her death was as peaceful as possible.

My condolences Egret.
My mum has been in a nursing home for some time, quite an experience as you say.

Sorry to hear about that.  It's alway difficult when someone close left.  May God give you comfort.  Take good care of yourself.

My deepest heartfelt condolences to you Egret, losing a parent is difficult in any situation, homes depending on which ones, can also be challenging and interesting.
Take all the good memories keep them close to your heart.
