For the second year in a row a female Hairy has fed her young in my yard.
She took a chunk of suet and flew into my cherry tree where the youngster was waiting. No pics this year as they were chased off by a Grackle. She returned a minute later for some more suet and flew off again.

That happens in our yard too, never a dull moment around here with all the birds. :D

It was papa's turn today to feed junior.
Also, a female Downy showed up today with her youngster
