Title: Loons July 31

Spent another great day with Mike photographing Loons on Sunday.
The company was great, the weather was perfect and the birds were putting on a show.
The only complaint? Dare I say the Loons were almost too darn close.
They were 3 feet off the edge of the boat and I almost couldn't fit them in the frame.
None of these are cropped and I was just using a 300mm.
I don't think I remember the last time I said "this bird is just to close"  :wink:  :lol:

the 1st pic is probably your best pic to date.
scared to ask if it was RAW of JPG :)

Wow - Meghan these are incredible - definitely your best post.  You need to run out and buy some frames.  #1 is beautifully done.  WTG!!!

Loons are so nice.  Makes me want to go up Sutton way and find some again.  I watched them up there a couple years back.
