There was a fairly good concentration of shorebirds at the Strathroy Sewage Lagoons on August 1st.
Best birds were 5 Solitary Sandpipers.
We also noted about a dozen of each:
Semipalmeted Sandpiper
Semipalmeted Plover
Pectoral Sandpiper
Least Sandpiper
with smaller numbers of:
Kildeer
Lesser Yellowlegs
Spotted Sandpiper

August 8th:
79 Least Sandpipers
1 Solitary Sandpiper
1 Short-billed Dowitcher
and half a dozen or so of the following:
Lesser Yellowlegs
Semipalmated Plover
Semiplalmated Sandpiper
Spotted Sandpiper
Killdeer
Pectoral Sandpiper
Ruddy Ducks and Blue-winged Teal about as well.
