I live relatively close to Bluffers Park and find my way there often so I might just start reporting on a regular base. I was there yesterday and the day before. Thursday was my luky day as I found a BoboBird for the first time!!(Sorry Bobo, it was too easy and I just had to...Bobo is a member). The resident Kingfishers were flying around as well as Eastern Kingbirds, the usual gulls and Mallards, the adult male Night Heron with two juveniles, A Common Tern which was diving just in front of Bobo and I, and for the first time at Bluffers for me...a large juvenile Great Blue Heron. Much of the same on Friday but the large juvenile GBH was replaced by another half the size!! This little guy let me get very close. Also found what I think is a Northern Mockingbird. You can see pics here http://www.flickr.com/photos/64018347@N02/ (http://www.flickr.com/photos/64018347@N02/) and I would be greatful if someone could verify the Mockingbird for me. Thanks!

There are resident Northern Mockingbirds at Bluffer's Park so more than likely that's what you saw. Watch for the white wing patches when they fly.

Thanks Walter. I posted a picture at the link I included and wonder if you had a chance to look at it to try and ID?

Oops!, I did look at all your photos and totally missed it the first time. This time I found it and yes that is a Mockingbird for sure. I viewed the full size photo to confirm.
