Post by: amack1163 on August 16, 2011, 11:26:44 PM
Sorry for being a little late after the fact but here goes...whent to Tommy Thompson park for the first time last Saturday August 13 and IT IS BIG!! Some notables: a Green Heron, a Great Egret, juvenile Spotted Sandpipers, Mute Swans, Belted Kingfisher, Gray Catbirds, Eastern Kingbirds, Common Tern, Double Crested Cormorants (goes without say I think), and landed in the middle of a bunch of Black-crowned Night Heron nesting patch (at least 10 to twelve nests and maybe more). Saw plenty of juveniles and adults. As always I posted a few pics here http://www.flickr.com/photos/64018347@N02/ (http://www.flickr.com/photos/64018347@N02/)
