Title: Turkey Vultures
Post by: Axeman on August 24, 2011, 11:37:19 PM
usually, around my place, I'd have a dozen or so TV's soaring around over head throughout the day...but noticing now the numbers are down...I know the migration is later....anyone else notice numbers down?

 Hi Axeman.

Yes.  Last year, there were dozens - some days 90+, by Kelso Lake in Milton.  This year, the most I've sighted at once were only 5.

Saw about 40 TV's along 401 at Kelso yesterday. I know other times I've passed there this summer there have been very few.
