Yes, late August is here, and we have a rise in Oriole numbers. At least 8 daily the past few days. Taking my fill in of them before they disappear soon.

And as I keyed this yesterday, today not one showed up. Going from filling the jelly feeder one to three times a day and today not touched. I recon they migrated last night maybe?
But with their disappearance I did see 3 Downy Woodpeckers and one incredibly vocal Red-breasted Nuthatch today. The Downys have been very sporadic the past few months and other than one sighting about a week ago, the RBNH hasn't really been seen here since last April.
