Title: Look at this Buck'n Spider!
Post by: Rob'in'To on September 06, 2011, 08:31:39 PM
Now that I have your attention.     A Buck I saw at Halls Road along with a Black and Yellow Argiope Spider (Garden Spider).  Thanks to some kind photographers I met in my travels...

And who doesn't love to see a nice Bunny?

And I haven't done this for some time, more of a winter thing, but always fun for sure...

Hi Rob

Nice shot of the buck, I was there 2 weekends ago and saw 4 different deer, not sure if this is the same buck as mine. There seems to be lots of deer this year everywhere, just got back from Killbear and saw 9 deer in 2 days, even a buck came up to our campsite 6 ft from fire in evening, 8 points beautiful male

Wow!  First one is a beaut!  Mine was a 6 point...  don't think I ever saw one before this.  The males I saw early this summer looked like they had found mittens and stuck them on their heads.

The Spider I saw was so big, he probably could have eaten a Fawn.  I joked with someone that it had a Chipmunk wrapped in the web today.

thanks but yours is so close and clear you can also feel the velvet on the antlers, mine had 8 point but can only see 7 in picture and there was a dense fog that day which put a haze on all the pictures

My buck was so close, this is with little zoom on my 250 lens.

But most importantly we got to see these beautiful beasts with our own eyes, living wild and free.
