Just got back from a weekend at Presqu'ile Provincial park. Weather was great but birding a little slow. I was hoping to see some new migrants but no luck; however, did see lots of the regular birds expected this time of year.
plovers
mixed sandpipers
various gulls
caspian terns
Osprey
red-shoulder hawk
redstarts
vireos
common yellow throat
black & white
magnolia
yellow warbler
northern parula
blackpoll
green herons
wood ducks
brown creeper
Stayed in a great B&B located within the park itself and only 500m from Calf pasture lookout. Right on water with lookout of Presqu'ile bay....would highly recommend to any birders that are planning on visiting park and looking for place to stay.
