During today's Hawk Watch at Rosetta McClain Gardens in Scarborough we saw many flocks of Eastern Bluebirds flying over the park heading west. Also out on Lake Ontario, many flocks of Red-breasted Mergansers and Long-tailed Ducks were seen moving in to the area. Jean Iron counted 230 Common Loons through her scope on the lake as well.

Love love LOVE them Bluebirds!
And nice to read about some of the shorebirds moving in and already being here especially after seeing the tragedy up north with thousands upon thousands washing up on beaches. That was heart breaking.
