Title: St Clair and Victoria PArk - Scarlet Tanager
Post by: Jaedon on May 10, 2007, 08:17:48 PM
This little guy showed up while I was BBQ'ing.  Fortunately for my family no hot dog or sausages were injured during the filming of this bird.

And this last one should have the following caption:

"Dude... I hear if you drink too much water you can turn to stone....Dude??...Dude??... Hey Duuuuude??"

Great shots, and I love the caption for the second picture.

First pic is classic and very nice, but I think those bird bath shots are outstanding.  The dark background and the lighting on the bird...very dramatic.

Well done! After spending all weekend at Pt. Pelee and not seeing one Scarlet Tanager, your pictures make it all worthwhile. (see my response to "Interesting Tanager" under Bird ID). A couple of kilometers west and that bird would have been in my backyard. Go figure.

Thanks for the comments on the pictures guys.  I am still learning but I get better with each and every shot.
