Title: Col.SamSmith-Northern Shoveler
Post by: Irene on October 24, 2011, 03:27:24 AM
Today my muse was a Northern Shoveler at Col.Sam Smith Park
He some how reminded me of "Daffy Duck"

what kind of duck was "Daffy" anyways..I'm thinking a hybrid mix of scoter, ring-necked and shoveler LOL!

Enjoy!

Thanks guys, He was my muse  and seemed to enjoy the camera too...next to the wood ducks I love these guys, First time I saw them I laughed and laughed, because their bills were so awkward, I have come to love the "cyrano" of ducks and truly relish in their splendid colors even if they aren't in breeding plumage.
