Once again a beautiful set of inspirational photos. They all tell a story to me
You also have made me fall in love with those Northern Gannets..now I want to go to Gaspe...or Perce...or Ile Bonaventure..any one of those will do.. LOL
and the fact they they actually have puffins in that area...
The loon is outstanting...now for the famous question...what lens are you using? LOL
:)

Thanks very much Irene !
To answer your question, it's a Canon 400mm 5.6
And, you really should go to Perce if you ever have a chance. I go just about every year and never get bored of it.

Beautiful set Phil, love the Grebe & Gannets

Thanks Phil, I'm looking into some ways of traveling..driving down, flying (not so much) or train..so far we are liking the driving down along the coast line that way we can stop where we want and when we want (or need to)
wow a 400? very nice! Hubby just fixed my tripod so now it swivels woohoo...much easier to handle and rotate where I need it.
I'm trying to get away from using my 500 as a hand held...LOL! and to use the tripod more... :)

The last photo is really amazing! I love the soft texture in the water reflection.
