Title: Northern Lights
Post by: BIGFRANK on October 25, 2011, 07:15:52 AM
Heard the frantic call of my roommate Tracy to join her on the balcony fast! The sky was filled with colour, mostly hues of green and red. What a sight!! Id never seen it so well before. We searched immediately for info but neither Environment Canada nor The Weather Network had anything. Apparently it may be viewable again Oct 25th,but not as well.

Hi Frank,  I monitor a site called Spaceweather.com   They will email you any time there is large sunspot activity on the sun and if the mass ejected from the sun is heading for the earth.  These eruptions that hit the earth usually indicate northern lights activity.  Cheers Terry
