This morning at Colonel Sam's I saw 27 species.

15 Canada Geese
5 Mute Swans
10 Gadwalls
15 Mallards
1 Northern Shoveler
5 Long-tailed ducks
2 Buffleheads
10 Greater Scaup
10 Hooded Mergansers
3 Common Mergansers
25 Red necked grebes
25 Ring-billed gulls
5 Mourning Doves
2 Downy Woodpeckers
1 Eastern Phoebe
10 Blue Jays
2 American Crows
3 Black-capped Chickadees
10 American Robins
2 Northern Mockingbirds
30 European Starlings
1 Yellow-rumped Warbler
5 Northern Cardinals
2 Red-winged Blackbirds
15 House Finches
15 American Goldfinches
20 Horned Grebes

That's one sweet list!

I saw two Shovelers on Friday and on Saturday in that small pond with the platform look-out where the Barn Swallows nest below.
