These guys have been evading me for far too long, but I finally found one at the end of the Spit this afternoon that was happy to run around and pose for me.

cool. i saw a flock of 15 or so (at least i assume they were snow buntings) when i was biking at the spit on Saturday. was hoping they would land, but at the last minute, they pulled up and flew westward.
nice pic

Great find Feathered, I haven't seen one of these yet, maybe this winter i'll get lucky

Rockin' shots! We hope to see some soon other than a flock whip by us which has happened a few times now.
-
Very nice and the rusty perch suits the bird nicely.
-
Great shots, I'm with Gary ..I have yet to see one of these.
-
Awesome shots ! Hope to see some soon myself.

Thanks everyone! Good luck in all of your searches for these guys. I thought it was neat that it acted more like a killdeer scooting around in the open than flushing constantly like a typical sparrow.

Nice shots!
I'm hoping to spot a snow bunting this winter at the spit or Colonel Sam's.

I like the bucket shot :D
