I entered a contest back in July for the Green Party of Ontario's 2012 calendar. And yesterday saw the ad of them now being for sale. It was cool to see that my photograph of a Long-eared Owl last winter graces the cover. A few friends and co-workers say I should be paid for this... but it's all in the name of fun for me. And hopefully those who purchase the calendar will enjoy the photo as well.

personally, i'm always an advocate of getting paid for your skills/efforts. of course, that's a separate and long discussion.

Thanks everyone. I don't think I will ever see a Long-eared in such an open setting and calm position ever again. And perhaps this is why it was chosen?
