Title: European Goldfinch

On the CCFEW birdwalk today at Humber Bay Park East, we found a European Goldfinch!  The first I've ever seen in Canada.  Photos are here (http://outdoorontario.net/birds/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=9184).

Other birds of note: 2 Surf Scoters, 2 Killdeer, 2 night herons, and a male Pintail.

There was 2 European Goldfinch there yesterday, the one on your photo on the ground and there is another one close by on the pine tree.
