Birded the waterfront from Humber Bay E. westward to Col. Sam. Saw many of the usual suspects for this time of year with 1 surprise. The 'harbour' at Col. Sam was fairly quiet save for 4 Mute Swans...or make that 3 and 1 pure white, black billed, noticeably smaller, straight necked Tundra Swan. Definitely not 1 of the resident Trumpeters (no tag). They all flew off and the Tundra seemed to labour a bit in flying. Coincidence?...saw a coyote on 3 legs, rear right held off ground. Also a surprise was a Ring Necked Duck and a Coot (east side). Logtails were in a variety of plumages still.
