Where about at Humber bay did you see him today?
-
This time of year, the creek is a good place to look. We found him on the mudflats in the new embayment area on Saturday. There were Green-winged Teal and Killdeer in the same area.

We found him both days on the east shore of the new little bay. He was feeding extensively both days. He didn't seem to be skid-dish at all either!

I found the pintail in the same area today at 2pm. My first ever! I also saw the green winged teal there too. Other birds include hooded mergansers, female common mergansers, long tailed ducks, bufflehead, common goldeneye, redheads, American wigeon, gadwall, great egret (at the Mimico Creek Lakeshore bridge), northern mockingbird and a first year cooper's hawk. The cooper's flew into a tree just east of the Humber R. bridge.
