Title: under the weather

unfortunatly I have not been out birding much, but I have been working on other camera skills, a little still life and abstract, its been a lot of fun considering I have been basically stuck inside for almost two weeks!!

hopefully I will be back birding soon! Planning a trip to the zoo on Saturday, which I hope will get my wildlife skills a boost :) Maybe this time around they will have the snowy owl as last year they did not have the snowy out. They were repairing the habitat...go figure. I know its much more exciting when seeing them in the wild and free, I am also exciting to hopefully see the wolves as well...I am watching posts and reading a lot.
This list has helped keep me in touch with what is happening around my area :)

I did get out to the zoo last weekend and it was awesome, I walked for almost 4 hours straight and did not take a break! The snowy owl was on display! she was beautiful and the zoo website said the exhibit was closed...what a great surprise.
Hope you feel better soon too!
I'm planning to get out on Sunday to check out the local parks in my area.
