Title: Todmorden Mills Today
Post by: BC on December 01, 2011, 02:50:31 PM
I couldn't find the Northern Mockingbird at Tod Mills today but I did see a Belted Kingfisher and a Great Blue Heron.

I checked out the North Toronto Water Treatment Plant where a Northern Shrike had been reported on Ontbirds yesterday. No sign of it but an American Kestrel was making forays from a lamppost to pluck insects from the lawn. Perhaps, it scared off the Northern Shrike.

A final stop at the Brickworks resulted in a nice walk but few birds other than numerous DE Juncos.
