Seen at Rosetta McClain Gardens in Scarborough yesterday. Orange variant Scarlet Tanager.

Hi Frank. Although I got shutout at Pt. Pelee this year and didn't see any Scarlet Tanagers, I was lucky enough to see an orange variant last year at Pelee. With so many of the brilliant red and black birds to compare to, seeing the variant was indeed a treat. Ah, but that was last year at Pt. Pelee...this year kinda slow.

Hi Lloyd,
I was at Pelee on May 13-15. Our group was lucky enough to see 3 tanagers. One had the sun shining on it, so it just glowed.
