Title: Trumpeter Swan
Post by: rj_to on December 02, 2011, 07:16:15 PM
I saw a trumpeter swan at Ashbridges Bay on Monday afternoon with a yellow wing tag, code "L13". I've heard that someone keeps track of this information. Does anyone know who to contact?

Hi.  I always report Trumpeter Swan sightings (tagged and untagged) to the following site:

Have had numerous conversations with Mr. Harry Lumsden re: sighted Trumpeter Swans, finding out their history - sometimes also the parents and grandparents history!!!   8)  It's always interesting hearing about when/where they were tagged, where they've been (cities/parks) and the dates sighted.
