Your first shot looks more like a wood duck x mallard or something....... the mallards seems to mix quite well with others and can give us lots of interesting colours.....

The second shot is of domestic-type "Bibbed" Mallards. There's one in High Park that's also pretty huge.
The first one, I have no idea, but could it be a Mallard x Green-winged Teal?

I think the first one is a Mallard x Wood Duck.
