Title: Festive Bird
Post by: Rob'in'To on December 16, 2011, 08:40:39 AM
Some of you may recall us catching another Budgie in the backyard not that long ago.  Well, he's adjusting very well with his new flock; and has definitely added something special to the "nest".

Moonie in the tree...

Misfit (our first backyard rescue) having a rare moment of acceptance and tolerance to the young guy.

Is it possible to teach a Budgie to sing anything?  "Screech screech, squawk squawk!"

I wasn't sure about posting the pics in this "photo corner" since they are household birds now...  but they were amongst the wild ones before and have stories to tell.  Misfits's is far more interesting than Moonie's since she spent 4+ months outside, escaped twice back outside and obviously retrieved both times.  The second escape was on her one year anniversary and what a long two hours to get her back.
