Hi everyone. Sighted on Saturday morning:
Red Squirrel #1: 8:30AM - Lake Wabukayne (NE corner of Glen Erin Dr./Windwood Dr., behind condo and school).
Red Squirrel #2: 9:30AM - Plowman's Park (NE corner of Glen Erin Dr./Montevideo, behind church and school). Very noisy critter - loud chirping and high pitched whirring!
These little guys are super fast! :D

There are tons of them at Riverwood this year... very cute little guys

I haven't seen them here for a long time but this year I have two hanging around the back yard and I have been able to lure them to my fence top feeding site for some great photo-ops. They're really cute and, unlike the giant(?) grey squirrels, they don't seem interested in the bird feeder! :)
It's been really quiet lately, (just sparrows and chickadees), but hopefully a bit of snow will attract a bigger variety of birds when ground feeding becomes tougher!

Awwww ... SO cute! I love seeing Red Squirrels ... and Chipmunks. :D I never see Red Squirrels North of Plowman's Park and never see Chipmunks North of Riverwood. Used to see lots of Chipmunks at Rattray Marsh and High Park in Toronto - they sit on your head, shoulders, lap, climb up your legs, etc. 8)
