I finally got to add snowy to my lifelist this weekend. It was definitely worth braving the cold, and it's about time we had some sunshine, eh? :)

Shot nice shots Feathered, lots of detail and as my wife puts it " it's amazing how nature can still be beautiful on human garbage" ...... I saw 4 snowys two weeks ago at a similar looking spot but none where there last weekend, that I could find.............. Interesting observation....I have seem alot reports of Snowys lately but none were listed in any of the Christmas bird counts from this weekend, I am wondering if some have moved further south

Great set, I love the first one, nice catch

Thank you everyone. :) It was strange seeing such a beautiful bird hanging around rubble, but I think the owl more than made up for the look of the garbage.

Stuff like this temps me to make that long trek into the Spit.
