Cool bird! and Happy New Year Bernie. Btw, have you been to the Humber Arboretum lately? anything interesting to report?
-
There has not been very much at the Arboretum lately. Lots of owl pellets but no sightings.
There have been the usual Juncos, House and Gold Finches, Cardinals, and Chickadees.
Cheers,
Bernie

Thanks Bernie, let us know if you see any owls there (or whitewinged crossbills which I've seen there before!) :)

What a treat to see, especially at this time of the year! Happy New Year!
-
A special bird for this time of year, eh. Some interesting reports out there lately of unique birds.
-
Very nice to see one of these still around, makes you wonder if he will survive the winter.
Happy new Year to you Bernie
-
Thanks everyone -
I have been surprised how hardy these warblers are - and as it turns out there are more there!
For those who asked: the Great Gray Owl was at the noted location today.
Cheers,
Bernie
