Came across my first Pileated Woodpecker today

I still get very excited when I spot one of these - they just seem so exotic to me. Funny that I saw my first one right beside my kid's school! Both the shots are great - I love the chubby little robin.

Pileateds are always a great sighting...  and don't happen very often, for me anyways.

Nice shot for both! I have also tried to shoo the Piletted, but realized I wasn't shooting fast enough, none of mine came out really clear...
