Title: Ashbridges Bay
Post by: Trillian Flummox on January 11, 2012, 03:13:31 PM
Does anyone know if the Brandt is still being seen around the Ashbridges Bay yacht club? I noticed a post on iONTBIRDS about it last week, but had no luck today. I did however enjoy a nice long look at a Coopers Hawk, and he had a good look at me while he busied himself with a lengthy preening session.

I should really learn how to spell! Of course I was asking about a Brant Goose (not a Brandt's Cormorant).

I thought you were talking about singer Paul Brandt.

A few friends have been down and no sign of the Brant.

I thought there was a Brandt's deli down there now....  lol....  sorry, had to throw it in there.  It's the first thing that popped in my head along with a WTF?

Too bad about the goose, I've never seen one before. Hmmm, and I've never heard Paul Brandt sing or eaten at a Brandt's Deli either - must be leading a very sheltered life!

Thanks all!
