Hello there!
Here are a few pictures I took last week. I never go anywhere fancy and don't have a car but if I let that stop me I'd just sit around in my underwear and drink booze, and that's no way to live. No! It's better to go out and look for birds because truthfully they're almost everywhere!
Did you ever see that movie "The Gleaners and I" where the one nutso fellow declares "BIRDS FIRST!", that was a good one. But enough silliness! I could endlessly take pictures of any of these "common" birds and what really kills me is what light can do to water! So many tricks! We are very lucky to have a love for nature; where would we be without that love? And it's alright if it's compulsive, maybe it's even better that way? It's hard to live in the world without it...

A whole bunch of nice pictures, my favourite is the Ring-billed Gull with the frog, haven't seen that before!
-
Thanks a lot, Thomas, I appreciate your praise. Your knowledge of birds has helped me out many times! My eyes were wide and I was terribly excited while I saw the r.b. gull coming towards me, dead frog dangling...

Great set of photos here, I love the RB Gull with the Frog as well.
Great catch for him and you.
-
Nice assortment. And yes, that common Gull steals the set with his meal in flight!
-
Glad you approve, folks, many thanks.
-
Lovely set. Yes, the 3rd kills the set. That is one great capture.
-
I love the gull! Nice catch for both of you.
-
The gull and frog is the clear winner! Many thanks for the comments, folks!

I love all your pics, including the RBG but my favourite is actually the first.... excellent exposure, clarity and composition. Not too often do we see Canada geese pics on this posting, glad you included it! It almost looks like a textbook study on flight or areo-dynamics.
