It's what he was just up to that intrigues the most...these tiniest of raptors are so exciting to watch...

Thanks, good folks...I must ask if any of you have ever seen one of these little lovelies actually impale its prey on a spike or thorn? I don't know if they typically do such in plain view...that would be something marvelous to see...butcherbirds, indeed...
