Title: Leslie Spit - Peregrine Falcons
Post by: dizzy on February 05, 2012, 08:19:09 PM
On Saturday 04 Feb, at Leslie spit, two peregrine falcons side by side flew over me. What a treat. They might be the same pair from prior week that were seen on the ice. Mike

Nice pics! I think there is a resident pair down there. I saw them yesterday and a few weeks ago... one is a bit larger than the other.

It could be the pair that nests King and Victoria - Ive watched them fly out to the spit/islands from office windows in the past.

I saw one flying low over the spit a couple months ago too.
