Title: C. Goose in the honeygold last-light
Post by: jackbreakfast on February 09, 2012, 11:16:20 AM
These days, the jackets made from the birds' feathers are ubiquitous as the birds themselves. I'll keep my feelings on that away from this post and offer this picture. The much-maligned Canada Goose is a forthcoming and highly photogenic subject, particularly in the later afternoon's golden light. I hope all is well with the local bird people...where is winter?!

Yes where is it?

That golden shot is impressive but of course the light is even more so. Surely you go more out of that evening?

Thanks, folks! You know these geese, just down by Sunnyside Beach. It was the light that got to me...you don't see light like that every day...I waited for the geese to do something, you know, interesting, but they didn't want to sing me no arias...
