Hi everyone. This morning at 9:15am, I bumped into Bob (rcflier) so we went for a walk at Maplewood Park until 10:15am. Sighted the following:
Cardinals x 2 (1m, 1f) - swooping down for 1/2 shelled peanuts
Chickadees - a few
Crows x 2
Downy Woodpecker x 1 (female)
House Sparrows - lots
Red-breasted Nuthatches x 2
Sharp-shinned Hawk x 1 (adult male) - giving us the Red "Evil Eye"! - he was out in the open, perched on a fairly low tree branch.
Maplewood Park: East side of Glen Erin Dr., just North of Aquitaine Ave.
