Title: Northern pintail
Post by: mr.sharp-photo on February 10, 2012, 05:10:18 PM
If you don't have a great telephoto lens, I encourage you to go and shoot this bird.
my 400 mm lens was unnecessary and I could have used a 50 mm lens. It will go right up to the dock/shoreline (sadly, likely due to people feeding the ducks bread).

Beautiful catch.

Yes very sad.

Once I had to tell 2 people off from feeding the geese by showing them the no feeding signs.

The woman asked why I picked on her - I told her because she was closer.

Both left right away. Hopefully never to return.
