Title: Holy gargoyle!
Post by: mr.sharp-photo on February 12, 2012, 05:30:22 PM
There were two red tailed hawks perched atop a church on Danforth and Pape. I was excited when I saw one land and was hoping it was something more exotic. I drove home to get my camera and lens and when I returned, the sun hid behind the clouds.

There were two perched on the church. One left within a few seconds of my arrival.

I played around with the white balance and saturation to give it a Van Dyke effect (some of you old photo geeks may know what that is) and played with the sharpness to give it more paper-like texture.

Well you "almost" made him part of the building. Well done.
