Title: Snowy Owl - near Rouge Hill GO Station, Scarborough
Post by: Bluffs Birder on February 14, 2012, 01:39:03 AM
At roughly 7:10 AM while making my way out to Whitby Monday morning I saw a beautiful Snowy Owl sitting on the rocks along the shoreline.  As my GO train was slowing to stop at Rouge Hill GO Station I noticed the owl sitting up on the rocks looking out towards the water, then it quickly turned it's head possibly spooked by the noise of the train.  The owl's location was along the Waterfront Trail south of the train tracks and aprox. a half km west of the GO station.
