Couple of pics taken at Lake Wilcox the other day.

Someone said he could be a Gadwall cross. Grateful if the experts here could give a definitive ID?

Cool photos, looks almost like some sort of photoshop filter has been applied to the bird! Probably some domestic mallard in there.
