Hey!
Let the dog out the back this morning for her morning squirrel exercise and while she explored the yard.
I spotted 7 swans flying at altitude towards the west. Grackles and a Red Winged Blackbird have returned.
Many American Gold finch's at the feeder today.

Two Grackles and a Red-winged in my backyard the last few days. Wow! Just like that! But it will be nice to see some life out there once again.

Even with the dusting of snow and minus 8 C
Activity level at the feeder was way up this morning
Had a tree full of American Goldfinches
RW Blackbird at the feeder
Jays
robins singing
multiple Cardinals singing
Grackles in small groups
Tonight out with the doggy at 10:0 pm I heard a killdeer (it is +4 C already)
