Title: Snow Geese at Downsview Park?
Post by: Flyingbass on March 05, 2012, 02:28:12 PM
Hello,

One of my co-workers thinks that he may have seen a some snow geese on the pond in Downsview.  Here is his description and some very fuzz photos, do you think they are snow geese?

Shape and size very similar to a Canada goose yet white in colour with some greyish colour around there necks and wings.  Small group of about 5-6 of them separated from the Canada geese.  They were much more timid than the Canada geese and as soon as I tried getting closer they would walk away where the Canada geese were not moving.

Thanks, Flying Bass

It likely is Snow Geese based on picture and description, hard to tell for sure though.
