Title: Whimbrel at Sam Smith Park Saturday
Post by: Brian Bailey on May 27, 2007, 05:09:56 PM
The flight of Whimbrel continued yesterday morning at Colonel Sam Smith Park.  We had at least 3 separate flocks between about 9:15 and 10:15.

Wonderful shots, wish I had been there for that.

This year, Wayne Renaud has been recording their flights through the Toronto area.  While over 7000 have come through in the last week, he was still seeing smaller flocks coming through as of Sunday morning.
