A very nice day to be out today.
At La Salle Marina there were plenty of Swans of all 3 species (Trumpeter and Mute Swans close to shore and Tundra Swans a bit further out). Am. Wigeon, Am. Coot, Am. Black Duck and my first Killdeer of the year were other highlights. Unfortunately I missed the King Eider, but he was apparently there today as it was reported on Ontbirds.
At Woodland Cemetery I tried for the Screech-Owl, but nobody showed in the cavity. There were some photographers/birders there and they hadn't seen it today either.
At Bronte Harbour the Snowy Owl was still on the docks, but I didn't spot it until I was on the way to leave as he was hiding among the white posts on the dock.
