Title: Ring Necked Ducks at Loafers Lake - Brampton
Post by: rcflier on March 11, 2012, 06:18:42 PM
Yes indeed, it was good day with a new species for this new amateur.  I spotted 4 male and 2 female Ring Necked Ducks at Loafer's Lake in Brampton. This is an inconspicuos little lake and I never thought for the life of me that I wouls see anything other than mabe a few Mallards and maybe some geese.  It is a very nice place to go for a walk.

In the first picture the left-most bird is a canvasback, a very good bird for brampton.
