Title: Cedar Waxwings - Rosetta McClain Gardens, Scarborough
Post by: Bluffs Birder on March 11, 2012, 09:26:28 PM
Mid-day today myself and several other birders and park goers stood and watched as 50-60 Cedar Waxwings took over a few Mountain Ash trees near the centre of the gardens and ate leftover berries that were still hanging from the branches.  They gave great views for everybody to see.  Many folks had never even heard of a Waxwing before today and were thrilled at the spectacle.

Lots of Robins, Red-wings and a few Golden-crowned Kinglets as well.

Happy Birding!
